Boat, Fish, and Explore Shagawa Lake

When you stay at our resort, you will enjoy easy access to Shagawa Lake from our marina with two 60ft docks. Spend a couple of hours exploring the south side of the lake in our family-friendly canoes, kayaks and paddleboats or rent one of our deluxe watercraft for an all-day experience on the lake. Bring your rod and reel along or use one of ours for a free two-hour rental to drop a line into one of Minnesota’s best fishing lakes.

Boat Rentals at Our Ely Marina on Shagawa Lake (Available to Public):

20-foot Deluxe Pontoon Boat –  $90.00 (2 hour minimum) $30.00 each additional hour

• 25hp motor
• Depth/fish locator and live well
• Maximum capacity of 10
• Includes gas

16-foot Deluxe Fishing Boat –  $60.00 (2 hour minimum) $15.00 each additional hour

• 25hp motor (four-stroke, electric-start)
• Trolling motor
• Depth/fish locator and live well
• Three swivel seats
• Maximum capacity of three
• Includes gas

Boat Rental Regulations:

• Required $250 deposit fee
• Age regulations: 21 years old for motorized equipment, 18 for non-motorized
• 24-hour cancellation required – late cancellations will be charged the entire rental cost
• Resort guests receive first pick from rental fleet
• Prices subject to change
